Don't forget, dealers make their number ($$) with those side products, such as wear and tear insurances etc....They try to scare you so you buy those crazy priced insurances.

Can't agree more. I'm im the same boat but with a kid. My SQ5 fits the bill. Don't buy this car if you are concerned by fuel efficiency. Otherwise, it's so fun to drive. Lots of power into this...
