3,000-5,000 miles if you care about your engine and turbo....if you are on a budget....

...and could care less about your car, then go up to 7,500. Or get the oil checked by a cerified lab and a certain interval to check viscosity and thermal break-down.

Actually in WNY the vogtlands and bilsteins have been tolerable...

...they have a slight bounce to them, but much better then constant collisions on frost heaves.

Actually seems like your more intersted in saving money, not environment...

...you could have bought a "alternative fuel" TDI, which uses diesel and uses less resources to refine the fuel, gotten better gas mileage, a car that lasts 300K easily, and saved a bunch of money...

Everyone should have a respected opinion...but,

...the car has 220 miles, and pesonally I don't see where the A8's style is anymore unconservative. I like both cars and would be biased enough to praise both of them :)

I have never done a CPO before...might want to look at complete service history...

...and maybe a carfax??? Other then that just make sure that it has all the options that you are comfortable with. Might want to look at the paint very closely to see if any panels have possible...
