Apology sent to the Ravens...where'd you hear that?

The Pittsburgh media is saying the opposite...that the NFL confirmed that the correct call was made.

I couldn't find anything on the NFL website saying one way or the other, but ESPN has it...

I like the new format (hated the old), but wouldn't it make more sense for...

I think there is a rule against this kind of thing.

I'm pretty sure that we're not supposed to be ripping the cars apart on the showfield so you'd need to get some special permission to do something as major as a timing belt.

What about a detailing session?

I'd love to know how to make my car as nice and shiny as some that I've seen there.

And...the detailing session has the benefit of being applicable to all makes and models rather than specific...

I agree with everything Mance said...

It was never explicitly stated what version(s) of the ECU you'd be working on (or at least starting with) and a lot of the newer members around here might not know the difference...so seeing progress...

If that's the case, I think a lot (at least some) of the excitement...

generated by these 034 / 12V Chip posts is a little premature.

Just take a look at Mr Dobey's post at the top of this forum for one example (he has an A4). Even a couple of the people in this...

Another piece of info...

This time from JWG. It looks like the MMS200 and MMS300 have both been chipped before. It is the MMS400 series from the A4 that has never been chipped.

<a...

According to this post, the MMS200 isn't even the Hitachi ECU...

My memory is a little foggy, but places like JET have already "chipped" certain versions of the 12V ECU, and reading MikTip's post, it would seem to me that the version was most likely the MMS200.

I agree..it definitely will not factor into my purchase decision...

but it is nice to know it the car has it. It does appear that it commands a small premium on eBay and Autotrader.

To sum up what I learned in this post...

Thanks everyone for the answers...

The easiest way to identify the premium pacakage is by seeing the controls for the memory seats.

The easiest way to identify the cold weather package is by...

Cool...I didn't even think about looking for the little circles.

In retrospect, that one was obvious...I was looking for something on the dash.

Thanks!

If you read my post, you would see I already looked there.

I even said that the allroadfaq site said there were no tip controls on the steering wheel. I was just confused that the controls on both sides were for the radio. Several posters below were...

Thank you for confirming that Xenons were an option.

The Audiworld Model guide for the 2001 model lists them under both optional equipment and standard equipment so I wasn't sure.

And of course...thanks for the info on Nav and Parktronic.

It...

Thanks...it looks like just about all of them have at least the premium package.

Most appear to have the cold weather package, but I'm not sure about NAV and TPMS. I'm guessing these are a little rarer.
