Thanks, this look easier then I rember.

I have already done this job, but I konw its tight down there and hard as hell to manover anything. So a picture to guide my hands would be great. Thanks!

just read X's. I got the audi repair cd but then I had to rebote my comp. I called the service to get a knew reg number and they where no help. Wasted money because I didnt even use the damn thing...

I never torqued mine. Remove old tie rod and count the turns in quarters.

Put the new unit on the exact amount of turns. Tighten the all the bolts dont worry about torque on the outer tie rod.

The fluids not that old. I put some of that blue stuff in there a year or so ago..

I checked it to see if it had air in it and it was pooring out blue and clean so I imagine bleeding it would be a wast of my time.

I got full pedal.

The clutch pedal returns all the way after I press it. It started going bad a few months ago and within a 2-3 weeks it was to bad to drive.

How do I bleed the clutch hydraulics?

I located it on the tranny but I was hoping the piston would be exposed so I could feel if it was moving in and out or not.

Probably the window relay. I think thats what its called?

Its a relay in the fuse box. When mine went bad the sun roof and windows quit working.

I had the VW part in their for two years before this started..

Its all around tougher to get into gear when the car is on. If I rev it slightly I can get it in first or reverse no problem. If I am costing slowly I can get it in first.
