Production Numbers
First I have done a search and see nothing. Having come from a BMW they would post their quaterly production numbers by model on Bimmerfest.
I was just wondering how many S7 are made or imported into the US a year.
I see some A7s but only a couple of S7 and never a RS7 and I live in a city of close to a million. In fact I see more R8's.
From my searching off and on this site for some reason Audi does not like to release by model production or export numbers.

I've heard there are only about 250 RS7 coming into the US each year. I had to drive 2 hours just to see one. The next closest one was 3 hours in the opposite direction. I didn't plan to buy it when I drove to see it, but am happy I did.
There are 76 RS7 for sale in the US right now (cars.com) and 90 S7s
Nothing conclusive in that but I'd guesstimate the s7 to be 300 or so a year in the US.

I will ask the dealer when I pick my S7 up in 6 hours. We have two Audi dealers in town and I have never seen a RS7. Saw one new S7 but it was sold and could not be test driven. Just like mine sitting there now. The dealer also said they were contacted by another dealer who saw my car while in transit and asked about getting it. Maybe because it is a very early 2015.
Sorry that guy can wait 3-4 months like I did.
I also went to Car.com. Pretty funny. 90 S7 for sale but two at north of 140G
and many over $100 G. Manbe they are selling production slots. Closest new S7 or RS7 is 173 miles away and then 500 miles after that.
