Default New S7 added to the fleet

Well, I've added the S7 to my Q7, TT and A6 Audi fleet. I will pick it up on Friday. It was probably the fastest purchase of the S7 in a while. I found it on Saturday just passing through the dealer. It was "sold" but the person who ordered it 6 months ago was no longer able to pay when it came in last week. The dealer had been working with him for a while but said Monday was the day of reckoning. They called me Monday and I bought the car. I could have done without the B&O but everything else is exactly what I was looking for.

I am looking for a second set of winter wheels and it seems no one has the actual specs on the factory 19" wheels (ET, etc.). I have a request in to the dealer for the factory part number and specs and will share if they provide them. Anyway, pretty excited about Friday...hoping the Chicago weather holds out until then, given the summer tires.

If you want 19" wheels for your winter tires, the only option available is BBS. Check them out at tirerack.com

You found an S7 just sitting on the dealer lot? Wow. Where are you located?

Pics or it didn't happen and all that jazz.

Anyhow, your color & options are pretty close to what I want. Congrats!

Any thoughts about Hartmann rims? Quality, weight etc?

Congrats!

We look forward to pictures and a full report.

You may need an R8 next to complete your Audi Fleet.

I was at the right place at the right time so feel pretty fortunate. I will for sure post some pics after I pick up the car. I am probably going to just drive the car on good days and use the A6 for the snow days that are sure to come (chicago)until spring. I did find a part number for the factory winter wheels (#S7W19C001). Between now and next fall, I'm sure wheels that fit the S7 will become easy to come by. I am really looking forward to this car....it seems both functional and fun to drive on a daily basis.

Not true - there are Hartmann 19 inch wheels that will fit. The installer just needs to make sure the wheel weights don't hit the caliper.

So...there is another S7 in Chicago! What dealer did you use? What color?

I bought from a downtown dealer (who I am really happy with...). It is Glacier White and looks AWESOME. I have some phone pics, which are not very good. I will take some real pictures when I return. I am traveling out of the country so have only driven it once(dealer to home). However, I am very impressed. I have the owners manual with me and should qualify as a certified Audi specialist when I return....13 hour plane ride each direction.

Just arrived back in the country and have not a had a chance for a good drive yet. I did make all the adjustments on the systems to my preference, but can't get the phone book in my cell phone to transfer. Anyway, all else is great. Here are a few pictures.
