Spark plug change?

Hi gang,
Finally getting chance to list tools needed. It really is pretty basic. 3/8" ratchet and assorted extensions, a hook tool (for pulling off he coil packs from the plugs, no room for your fingers on the driver's side), a T30 wrench end in a 3/8" drive socket, you may also need a pick tool to release the wiring harnesses from the coil packs and lastly, the spark plus socket. I bought one that said for the 2.9L and supposed to be a thin wall. Well, it wasn't thin enough. So, I went high dollar for a Snap-On socket #S9714MK and it went perfectly. Don't remember the budget socket brand but it put the project back 2 weeks because of no time to do it.
Passenger side was a breeze. The airbox came out with a little wiggling but no problem. Everything was easily accessible after that.
Drivers side was kind of a pain getting harnesses off their holder to get at the coil packs. Helps that I have thin hands. Getting at the screws that hold the coil packs down took some work but not the worst job I have done on my Audis.
If I remember right, it took like 2.5 hours. Definitely easy enough to save the $400.00-500.00 (in my area) the dealer gets to do this.
Have fun!!
