Why did you buy an S6 instead of an S7?

my wife had a b8 s4, after baby #1, the S4 was too small and the S550 was a pos after warranty expired. replaced them with the c7 and a cayenne s. S class or A8 sized cars, even with a lot of power are no fun to drive.

You can't have both - Full luxury and a sporty/fun car. However, the S6 does both pretty well. It may not be as quick in the turns but it's still fun. And at 6'3" I have found it one of the more comfortable cars I have owned.

The B8 S4 back seat area is pretty small, so I can see how having a rear-facing car seat may cause issues. Even with a toddler/booster seat in my 2011 S4, my 6 year old did not have a lot of room from his knees to the passenger-side back seat in front of him (and my wife is only 5'0"!).

When I signed on the dotted line for my S6 I told the salesman if they bring over the S6 Avant, call me. I'll trade in my S6. Why? I'll be trading in two garage spaces for one... one for my V8 2004 Tourag, the other for my S6. Except for the off-roading, the Avant will cover both very nicely.

The S7 design didn't really appeal to me until recently: while at the dealer, I was shown a Daytona Gray RS7, which floored me. However, I never really considered the S7 seriously, and even given the gracious pricing my dealer has offered, the S7, and especially RS7, would have been unjustifiably expensive.
