The S6 is not a competitor for the e63. That would be the RS6/7. The S6 competes with the e550.

yes, im perfectly aware of that and the fact the an E63 costs much more.

S6 is tweener though. For BMW, it's in the middle of 550i and M5. For MB, in between E550 and E63. Actually all S cars are. Targets all clients who are looking for these cars.

Its like I said before Audi shows it all as an option where as Merc includes a lot of it. Like a Alcantar Headliner. Standard on AMG E63 and $3000 option on Audi or is it $4000

A loaded S6 (all options -B&O) is $88k. A base E63 is $94k. Not sure how you can say an E63 is cheaper. And even if the E63 were cheaper, at these prices is anyone actually making a decision based on price? If you are, I would say you can't afford either. Save money, drive everything, pick one, write a check, smile!

Just like all those SUV drivers, drivers of performance cars will rarely realize the full potential. Personally, I found the S6 to be a better daily driver.

I own a S6, but consider the E63 Wagon my dream daily driver!

Why write a check to purchase when leasing is a way better option (for most) Audi does not structure their lease program very favorable but Mercedes does. Example: You are correct the Audi is a bit less money based on Window but the Audi Leases for way more.

I had both and based on 20k down the Merc was 600 a month and the Audi was 800. it makes no sense. I tell everyone …do not be impressed when an E63 pulls up any shmo can get one. Guys that drive Audi S6’s know better.

However in a pure drag race the E63 is faster. Hell my E63 with a Renntech tune is faster than my brand new R8V10
