Really? Got a link?

ETA - I found it.

ETA2 - I remember now. You were the guy that didn't know how to work the settings.

Has anyone talked their dealer into doing the TSB without a fault code present?

I'm picking up my car today after the software update. I did not have the fault (at least not so far as I could tell); I did mention the throttle lag as the primary complaint.

It may be worth mentioning that I've had a couple of "experiences" in the past with my dealer and they may have decided that it's better to just agree with me.

I am in the process of creating an "experience" with my dealer. I'll post back if they finally update my car.

Picked up last night...the behavior is nearly gone (though much, much better). Accelerator down, car goes.

This was the line from the SO:
11457 VEHICLE REQUIRES SW UPDATE 24702599-.40 01500000-.10 0.50
PERFORMED SW UPDATE AS PER TSB 2035235/2

Default From my recent 25,000 m. service:

I have a very friendly and cooperative team. FWIW, they indicated that an intermittent light might not in every case yield a fault code, but that it might be a good approach (for S6 owners) to reference the 2035235/2 TSB and politely request that they "check the software levels". If they go this far with you, and are likely to support your custom with Audi, they should want to execute the above-referenced software update. As the service head said, 'what's the big deal (in terms of tech time)'. I had no light and really nothing much in terms of lag but, thanks in part to this forum, explained matters as just another customer requesting that his car be brought as up to date as possible.

I have noticed a bit more refinement in shifting, and once the rains abates I will wrench the Blue Charm into circumstances that have been described as resulting in lag. I don't expect any but will report back if I am left in the lurch. Oh and, having named my RS4 Miss Piggie, in the interest of karma I rejected "Blue Whale" in favor of "Blue Charm", which is the name of an understated Atlantic salmon fly.

Is this TSB corrected by any tune from APR or GIAC or is it something that still needs to be done at the dealer?
