Hello,

I need to replace a broken lamp on my Audi A6 (2013), more precisely the head lamp housing and it is impossible to find the headlight coded 4GO.941.033.C. The closest I can find on the market is 4GO.941.033.D.

Can anyone please tell me what is the difference between the two (C vs D)? Are they compatible or not and if not, could the 4GO.941.033.D model lamp be adapted to 4GO.941.033.C type ? As I said I would only need to replace the lamp housing, as the other components inside have not been damaged.

Normally D would indicate a minor update to the item compared to the C version. so it should be OK. Issue would come if you try to fit a post facelift unit into a pre-facelift as they are different shape, but then they should have a different part number

For this component, the VIN only indicates 4GO.941.033.C and 4GO.941.033.N (which is also unavailable on the market) so I'm afraid is not only a minor update of the C code. I worry still that there could be no compatibility/ feasible adaptability between those two (C and D) since the VIN doesn’t include the D code.

Can anyone give me more details on the update of D model as compared to the C model?
