I received my Hartmann rims (option #2 in the OP) yesterday, mounted and balanced w/Michelin PSS. I went to a shop down the street to have them put on but where the weights are positioned on the barrel caused them to rub on the caliper for the fronts. I called Hartmann and they advised that for this car the weights need to mounted on the actual rim arms themselves (which they forgot to do). So my guys removed the existing weights and re-balance the wheels putting the weights on the backside of the arms, not on the barrel.
It took some doing but they got it done, so word of caution to those that order these and have Hartmann mount and balance... remind them what kind of car these are going on! Also as others mentioned it's a very tight fit between the caliper and the rim arms, and the OEM center "spider" caps do not work on these (which may already be common knowledge but I was under the impression the OEM caps fit... I guess they meant the non-"spider" ones)...

Thanks for the info on the weights...mine have not shipped yet from Achtuning so I just emailed them now to make sure the weights are installed correctly.

Did you end up going with the 20x9 or 19x8.5?

19x8.5... Hartmann recommended against/wouldn't "guarantee" running the 20 setup would work, although it might. I have to say thought the 19s fill out the wheel well nicely and give the car a little more aggressive stance imho.
