Congrats. Looks like I left some money on the table.

Still pretty happy with my new S6 though. (Mythos black, Prestige, Sports pkg, Black optic pkg, drivers assistance pkg, carbon interior trim)

Me too. I purchased my slightly used 2016 S6 a little over a month ago. (Right about the same time Audi started fixing the New S6's and releasing them for sale) If I'd have known they were finally going to start releasing them, I probably could have gotten a few more $k off of my used 2016. I still made out with a well spec'd 2016 with less than 14K miles on the Odometer. Zero launches on the launch counter and an immaculate interior and exterior. Even had a fully loaded media drive from the previous owner. (some new stuff I'm looking forward to listening to and some stuff I'm not really into, but will still give it a chance).

I'm the guy who pointed out every single ding in my 2017 A4 to the sales person when I traded it in for the S6. One in the vinyl protection on the right front fender above the wheel (couldn't tell if the paint was damaged without removing the vinyl). One on the top of the passenger door and two small door dings in the forward end of the drivers door (sales person could not see them, but I assured him they were there and I could see them when the light hit the car just right.....................) All fixable with PDR but ........ I knew they were there......

In the end, I got a deal I was comfortable with and every time I get in the car, I still smile when I push the start/stop button. Regardless of what happens now, the C7-7.5 S6's are probably the last S6 models with a V8........ and I'm going to enjoy every minute of mine. Guessing everyone will also do the same.

Like you I just transitioned from a B9 A4 to the S6. The A4 was a great car but I just wanted something more. The combination of being the last of the V8's and the deep discount was just too compelling to pass up. So glad I did. Acceleration is effortless and the comfort is on a whole new level. I used the OBDeleven from my A4 to enable oil temp and which gear I'm in, which is pretty handy. Should I tune the new S6 to 575 hp with APR stage1 is my latest dilemma.

Anyone have any leads to a great deal in the northeast? PM me if you do, please.

Ditto, I would trade my 2013 S6 for a loaded premium 2018. Aside from driver assist and sport pkg, really like comfort seats but not a deal breaker. Black is a deal breaker. In NJ or PA or NY?

Nice car, they seem to have had it for a while.

Just made it home from portland! Quick 150mi trip back to Seattle over the weekend. Love the car, much more refined compared to the C7.

Went with the Tornado grey car.. loved Mythos but I've had black audi's wanted to change it up from the Glacier 13 I traded in. Now to install the AWE, HRE's and H&R module on the 18

24.5% off without much push-back. I'm also having them swap out the grill for one without a front plate bracket, they didn't balk at that request so they must have had some additional margin. However, the lack of inventory was not on my side. I wanted to get a deal done yesterday as much as they did and I didn't want to miss out on the red car; it's stunning in person.

No other local inventory near close to 100 miles from me, save for a car with less options at the same dealership: moonlight blue exterior with lunar silver seats (it also had 295 miles on the odometer). I wasn't interested in that combination and I didn't want to deal with with either traveling out of state near the holidays or waiting for more cars to get released from port.
