Default C7 RS7 grill installed - pics

Shoutout and big thanks to theduke for helping me find the RS6 grill. Here are a few pics for your viewing pleasure.

Things to note:
- bumper support bar is aluminum so has to be painted black if you don't want to see it through the grill
- install (taking off bumper, painting support, swapping in new grill) total time about 3 hrs
- originally body shop agreed to dremel holes for my LI diodes, but the technician refused to incase he ruined the grill. In the end they attached it to a support bar behind the grill.

You know what would look awesome? Order an additional S6 logo -- the same one that is on the trunk (from Audi parts), and place it on the grill. It would stick out against the black.

Or a grill badge like this.

The guy's name is Noah. Quick responses if you have any questions and it arrived 3 days (to Cleveland, OH) from ship date.

I assume this isn't an OEM part. Accurate? If not, how is the build quality of it compared to your OEM grill?

I wonder if you can tell the quality from my more closeup pictures.

Regardless, it feels very solid and thick, no flimsyness. I wish I weighed it, but it is a tiny bit lighter than the OEM S6 grill. Honestly, I was waiting for someone to get the part number for the OEM RS6 Avant grill and get it shipped from Germany...however, once this one got put on I was so happy because it looks and feels OEM.

Fits perfectly snug. No issues there.

The item does say that it is a genuine Audi part. Obviously it does not guarantee that it is, Ebay has been cracking down on misrepresented items.

I work at eBay, happy to ask folks to look into this. However, as I read it, I did not believe if I was a buyer that this was an OEM part. It doesn't say OEM anywhere, and the part number listed is not Audi convention for part numbers. Lastly, it does say "Brand new RS6 style grille" which to me is a dead giveaway that this isn't OEM. What does "genuine" really mean at the end of the day?

blow352, sounds like you are happy with the part, and I think it looks great on your car. Kudos.
