Pics below. It was a cloudy morning so lighting is not the best. I'll try to take some more pics tomorrow.
I like that you blacked out the lower trim to match. Makes everything look tied together.

Only time will tell whether or not the paint is durable. If I get rock chips knocking off the paint, then I may have to consider an alternative. Audi does sell the black optics parts for lower grills, but my dealer could only find the part with a matte finish. I had the paint done glossy to match the grill trim surround.

LOL!

Just like that rug.... it really tied the room together. That is, until Wu peed on it.

If you order parking sensors from Audi, they don't come painted. They come with primer and you must have them painted.
Got it. So I guess it's just as easy to repaint the gray ones that came on the car?

Yes. I just got lucky that they had some black sensors that matched my grill. Otherwise, we would have painted my gray sensors. I called the Audi parts department at my dealer and they were the ones who told me that all parking sensors arrive with primer and must be painted to match the car on which they are being installed.

Chinaman is not the preferred nomenclature.

Looks good! I'm going to have my Black Optic grille installed in a couple weeks. I'll be installing a black-painted rear diffuser too, as I want it to blend in better with the AWE exhaust with Black Diamond tips I'm having installed at the same time.

For the parking sensors, I plan on just applying flat black vinyl over the grey ones (and to make it easily reversible once the lease is up).

Can you tell me a little bit more about what you are doing with the rear diffuser? I agree the gray doesn't look great and I have been looking for a carbon fiber rear diffuser for several months with no luck. Any info would be helpful. Thanks!

Nothing fancy... I bought a second rear diffuser and had a body shop paint it (satin) black. I didn't want to keep it the stock grey color due to adding the Diamond Black exhaust tips (with the AWE exhaust).

If you're interested in a carbon fiber rear diffuser, I would talk to EuroGear to see if they would be interested in making one;

I had their B8 S4 rear diffuser and it fit/looked great.
