Anyone Getting Loaded Onto a Ship Soon?
My saleperson just informed me that my car has completed production is is on the rail in transit to the port (Bremerhaven I assume)?
Hoping to track down the ship its on so I can track it across the Atlantic!

Given the dates from my dealer and a little deduction, an S6 with my name on it should already be loaded onto the Swedish-flagged Fedora, voyage CD316-FED, having left Bremerhaven on April 20 and currently on its way from Zeebrugge, Belgium to Southampton, UK. From there to Manzanillo, Panama and reaching Port Hueneme, California on May 15.
Anybody else on this ship?
Got my info starting with a trade route search here: http://sagaweb.2wglobal.com/AppSched...RouteSearch.do

Audi Exclusive Sepang Blue S6. Dealer actually says its already on a ship, the Cougar Ace, which looks like it left Emden today!
Dealer is saying delivery week of 5/13, which should put the car in my hands almost exactly 12 weeks from order date of 2/16. That's pretty amazing for an Audi Exclusive color.

Sweet...Congrats! Mine just went into production yesterday, hopefully June 6th delivery.

Most Audis built in Germany depart from the port in Emden. I believe BMW mostly uses Bremerhaven.

I have an A8 which my dealer says is built and due to land in port at Brunswick, GA on 4/29/13.
I have not been able to confirm which vessel I would be on, however.
Looking at this there appears to be a boat called Boheme which lands in Brunswick on the 29th. Do you think that's where my car is loaded?

Uh oh...
I knew the name of the ship my car is on (Cougar Ace) sounded familiar, and thought it was the same one that my BMW had come over on. Turns out that wasn't the case; I remembered the ship name for a very different reason:

TL;DR version: Cougar Ace listed while adjusting the ballast tanks at sea a few years ago, and all 5000 Mazdas on board had to be scrapped. Plus, a guy died while trying to salvage the ship after it listed.
Does this portend bad luck for my S6 ownership?
