Thank you for your advice.
It's based off MSRP as per the documentation required for it.

Thank you.

I wonder if it is too early to be angling for discount on a 2014 since the 2015 S6s are just starting to arrive in the showrooms. Any opinions on that? Is Audi NA putting any particular pressure on dealers to clear out 2014 stock, such that they would have an incentive to deal aggressively on price? Or does the low-volume nature of the S6 make that negotiating lever less effective?

"S" models sell. There arent many out there left. What people dont understand is that Audi builds just enough models to sell. They never have any leftover. Just because the 15's are arriving now doesnt mean the 14's are old, its still 2014 for another 5 months. A car isnt considered a leftover until Jan 1 of the next year. Most dealerships are running very low on stock as it is because the 14's have been clearing out and the 15's are only slowly trickling in.

So to your question, there is not pressure from Audi NA to move cars. The lease incentives are better on the 14's if thats what youre interested in. However you need to think about the fact that if you want to negotiate on a 15 model, they are around $1,000 more than the 14's right off the bat. So youll only end up negotiating to a higher number in the end on the 15(if thats what you really want).

Thank you again. That is very helpful perspective as I go into the negotiation phase.
