S6 on the COTA 3/29/14
I had the incredible privilege to take my 2013 S6 on the Circuit of Americas track today. It was for the Ride Drive Give charity event. Participating were BMW M3, Maclaren, Corvettes, Cadillac CTS, and many other American muscle cars too numerous to name. The event also allowed all drivers to take one of several exotics on the track if you didn't want to drive your own. These included Ferrari F430, Lamborghini (not sure the model), Maserati, Nissan GT-R, and a Mercedes SLR McLaren.
Let me tell you, and I've never been on the track before in my life, the S6 hung with every single one of them. I was not passed a single time in my 50 minutes of total track time but passed the Ferrari, two 'vettes, the Maserati. On the straights, the Ferrari could not pull away and I had to back off the Maserati.
I have video of the ride that I'll attempt to post. Only problem is the Contour Roam camera I used clearly showed the inside of my car but completely washed out the outside. You can make out my speeds and briefly see the Ferrari and GT-R in front of me.
Oh yeah, and my car's stock. I have a complete and new found respect for this vehicle I've had for 18 months now. Don't be afraid to track this sucker at all!

Video of some of the action
Sorry about the overexposed outside. You can see the Ferrari F430 pop into and out of view if you watch close. For those familiar with the track at COTA, it starts out at T20, 85 into the S curves (T3), 60 out of the hairpin (T11) and 137 top speed on the back straight (T12).
