<center><img src="http://pictureposter.audiworld.com/69376/000_0513.jpg"></center><p>Autometer / Phantom
For the pod:
I took out the air vents first;
Drilled the center vent using a round 2 1/8 bit (the one made for drilling a hole in a door to install the door ****);
For connecting the gauge:
Took off the glove compartement;
I tee'd into the green boost/vacuum line that goes to the ECU, 6 inches before the ECU;
Used a plastic 90 degree tee (2.50$ at canadian tires), atached the 2 ends that connect the green line with a 1/4 housing,
(the green line goes inside the housing and the housing connect to the tee);
Then I used a 1/4 line to connect the tee to the gauge
Fish the line trought the center console to the air vents;
Reinstalled the air vents (you will have to dent the vents to make room for the 1/4 line and the electrical wires);
For the lighning:
Took out the cig lighter;
Fish the wires trought the center console to the cig lighter;
Take out a part of the housing of the brown (ground) and blue/white wires, attached and welded the wires
Et voilą!
Everything is working perfectly, took me 3 hours to do it (would do it again in 1 hour)
I even found a boost leak and corect it.
One happy guy!

to fit the 2002 S6 tiptronic wheel, I only used an adaptor because....
...the diameter of the steering column of the car was smaller than the one of the new wheel, probably because of the tiptronic. The rest is basically the same than swapping an older sport wheel.

the adaptor is bigger on the side of the wheel and smaller on side of colomn...perfect fit!
sorry I don't have a part number or a size to give you...but I've been told by my local car shop that is a pretty standard part.
