When my friend moved to Thailand it was great. No taxes. Easy living. he built this huge house (his wife is Thai).

Now he says they're building in City infrastructure all around him and his taxes are slowly climbing.. So the very thing he went to Thailand to escape from is catching up with him again.

The local politicians came to his door and offered to pay him to vote for them. A direct bribe. Crazy.
