Default AMD Rear BBK installed-not bedded in yet but...

You can feel the difference in leverage. Addict Motorsport Design quoted me an increase in braking "force" of 37%, about the same for your typical 993tt front BBK. Trust me, they do the math! The car hauls down level instead of nose diving. Custom made aluminum bracket with steel inserts, factory caliper and carrier and S8 rear rotor, Ferrodo DSwhatever pads. Very tight fit, some massaging and it all went in! AMD will be back to providing to the UrS community very soon they say. Some pics.

I test fit my Euro Boleros, 17X8 ET40 with no issues and my Fuchs required 3mm spacers. You could just file down some of the caliper for clearance on the Fuchs, which I did but I'll still run the spacers at the track with my Fuchs. See it at Burien at the Audi Expo. Can't wait to get them bedded!

So same pad area but the leaver arm is longer = more braking power (?)

The swept area is bigger, but mostly the rear brakes are along for the ride anyway

Default Drive it, you'll understand, and the rear brakes do more to stable the car under hard braking...

What I really need is a bigger turbo, and a ton of money to pay for the Tip tranny in my allroad that is being rebuilt right now.

Not saying it doesn't work, just that the caliper looks lost on that big rotor.
