These are a few shots of the new Saridea tubular exhaust manifold going on my stroker motor. The manifold is shown with just the tacking holding things together but its now all welded. The next step is the wastegate mount and then its off to be coated along with the hotside of the Innovative F271 dual ceramic ball bearing turbo. As a reference, the intake on the turbo's compressor is 4" in diameter. These are the same guys that just finished that PSS9 coil-over kit on Todd Taylor's Allroad.

Another thing to note here is that the tubes coming out of the header flange have been counter sunk a good 2/3 of the way into the material.

Things are finally coming together after the damage caused by an explosive spark plug.

Head had to come off, new piston, etc.. Damage didn't seem too bad. All went together and drives fine... that was 83K miles ago.

The placement will work for the urS-cars but it will also work for the urQuattro running 3B or AAN engines. There are 2 urQuattros at the shop being fitted with everything from BBKs front and rear to roll cages to full coil-over suspensions that will essentially have my same 2.5 stroker motor. There's also an ultra low mileage 95.5 S6 coming in from KC next month that will also get the same manifold but with a smaller turbo and a whole lot of other stuff. Add to that another 4-5 already sold and they'll be making a run of manifolds. Saridea will also offer 3 1/2" downpipes that bolt up to a Stromung exhaust or they can build a custom 3 1/2" exhaust.
