Got to have da Bling

Lots of stuff goin on down at 3R Automotive today. Dave Jones freed some of his valuable time up at 6:00 AM this mornin to get my new Dave Stone suspension mounted for me. We have another early mornin session tomorrow to finish up unleashin da Beast and alligning it and then I'll be able to provide some driving feedback. The installation was very straightforward and I hardly got dirty at all. But, it is very comforting to have a full race shop and an Audi salvage yard down the street when accomplishing something like this. Having dual adjustable shocks on a street/track car is gonna be so nice. More to follow.

That camber/caster plate is a Dave Stone unit that is part of his suspension package. I used to have the 2Bennett 2nd Gen plates but replaced them with the pictured unit. That is one pic I need to add, a side by side with the 2 different plates.

ANother first, thanks for all shots especially front end. I've been talking to Dave Stone and Brian as well. Saving the coin!
I have a dedicated set of complete struts getting prepared.

Mind telling us what spring rates you finally chose? That's the part I am deliberating over.

He was gonna try several rates and ended up with 8" 450 front/10" 500 rear. The springs are Hypercoil. I had 400 rears and I wanted more in the back so this just made a lotta sense. The Eibachs are something like 280.

Any chance of buying your old rear set-up (springs and shocks).
And where can I get the camber plates ?

That should be a nice setup Hap. I've never understood why spring rates are normally so low for us.

Eibach and to some extent H &amp; R didn't want to go too far from the Audi specs for their applications.
