Looking to buy a 2004 S4, questions about its reliability?
Hi there, I'm in the market for an A4 Avant when I accidentally found an 2004 S4 avant at an unbelievable price. Needless to say I'm tempted, but want to ask the experts here before making the decision.
Secifically, how reliable is the V8 S4? The car is 2004, which IIRC is the first year model. Any known problems associated with it? The car currently has 50k miles on it, what are the schedule maintenances that should have been and will soon need to be done on the car? And for those of you who has an S4 as old as this is, what's your typical maintenance cost per month/year?

otherwise you are good if the price is right and stfa this forum, because most of the guys here recommend a 2005+ model =)
