RNS-E Navi users..I went from 5 sats to 8 with this piece>>>
Part # 000-098-657 $ 35.00
This Cable uses the roof mounted gps in the sharkfin.
I tried all the "known" spots, behind the cluster, above the glove box, near the fusebox, and at best would get 5 sat's or less..same locations now report a solid 8 sat's..
We all know GPS needs a clear view of the sky to do it's best work.

Wait...is this right? You're using the sharkfin! Awesome!
Another point crossed off my list as to why NOT to do RNS-E.
The main issue is that I have nav, paid a ridiculous amount for it from the factory; it is extremely functional, but not as pretty as it could be....
I will play with Haw's sat tomorrow at the g2g and start feeling that it's time to dishout the required$$ for the upgrade.
Anyone want my stocker nav?

Plugs in under trim panel, right side above rear window
Panel pulls right off, no worries
Blue = GPS
The other red/pink connector is for the phone linkup.
