Default OK, I know it's Motor Trend, but

I was checking out their website yesteday, and they have a special section on new cars 2004 and out. It mentions that an A4 coupe has been greenlighted, with a 371hp S4 coupe following soon after.

Discuss amongst ourselves......

A S4 coupe would blow a M3 out of the water in all catergories except practibility. The current S4 design for 2004 is just practical, just like the RS6, fast and practical. For those of you who like coupes you will like it, but I can tell you that this move by audi is mainly aimed at Euro Markets with the A3 & S3 coupes which have been such a success. Just my two cents.

They have to fix the weght ratio before it blows the M3; but you're right -- possibly Euro only

Default Negative...USA bound

"2004 Audi A4 : Coupe be unveiled at the Frankfurt Motor Show in September, and be on sale in U.S. this year. A high-performance, 4.2-liter V-8-powered S4 coupe with 371 horsepower will soon follow."

I didnt say it wouldn't hit the US. But I would expect to see a delay that we are seeing in all of the "Limited cars" eg. S4, RS6 etc... That the Euro cars are available 5-10 months ahead of the US. But I also still hold my opinion this will do better in Europe then in the US just based on current trends.

Default Been waiting for this...

Ever since the A4 cab debuted I knew a coupe would be the next logical step. And I bet it'll look damn nice too. The A4 Cab is one of my favorite Audi designs yet.
