paint thinner...you mess up the paint or aren't happy with it...CLEAN IT OFF while it's wet and try again. This isn't a one-shot or nothing deal...the main thing is that the sanding and filling is good and THEN that the paint is good. The paint is mainly a covering and the thing that finishes it is the clear coat. The clear is the "hard part" and it's a bummer if you have to clean that off because you have to respray the silver if you do that BUT you can and it's no big deal. Today was the 4th time I've done this and EVERY time I've ended up cleaning off the first attempt and doing it again.
