my timing went from 8-12 to 11-15 with spikes to 18. That is with my XR chip. Didn't really do X chip or stock chip comparisons. INtake temps were lowered by 6-8 degrees. I did the testing 2 nights apart and there outside temp was the same. Same load condtions. Not the most scientific methods, but hey. My knuckles were cut up and my back hurt from working on the car. I was just excited to get them on :)
My main concern, and most of the others using these ICs, is for preventative measures. Running 20+ psi is not uncommon on the track. The last thing I want to do is to find out when the stamped on S4 end tanks let loose. Trouble city if that happens.
