We received sponsorship today from Royal Purple Oil co. For those of you that don't know, Royal Purple (yes, it is purple oil) is a synthetic that has weights down as low as 0w15. We had been using their Racing 9 (0w30) oil in one of our racing Porsches as a trial and had no camshaft wear...checking it on a regular basis.

We have been using Racing 21 in our AUDIs for the entire 2001 season..again...excellent lubrication on our turbo engines....no coking...no foaming...valve guides and stems/camshafts are excellent.

Another product we have been using and stand behind are the STOP TECH brake rotors and hats. We had used a major brand for many races and were changing rotors almost every race. When we changed to STOP TECH, we started going 3-4 races without changing them...partly because of their floating hat design...we get less rotor flex...more consistent brake pedal and better pad wear. I mentioned today to Bob Lee, director of marketing about a post of "clunking" noises from pads with STOP TECH...within minutes, his brake engineer responded to the post with useful infpormation.

All of these names represent products that I chose to use in our cars because of what they did for our racing, not for what they would give me.

I think that you will find that I believe in the products that we use and won't carry a name on the car unless I feel that the product is worthwhile.

I have several products that I am developing...front camber/caster adjustors, rear camber adjusting upper control arm, mounting brackets for RS4 intercoolers...and a few more. Josh Decker at ACHTUNING will be handling distribution of these. Machine work is underway on some of these products...but DAYTONA comes first.....
