Replacing just 1 turbo (!)

Replacing just 1 turbo (!)
My dealer is going to replace just one of the blown turbo's -- I though you had to have both of them replaced at the same time. If so, what can I say to him or point out to him so that they will do it right? Or is it fine to just replace one?

that was the solution I was offered...(solution enclosed)
The Audi rep had only authorized the replacement of one turbo. I took in the same page that's posted below & told them "I have no problem with you replacing only one turbo, however, when one of the turbos fails in the future (& it will), I'd like them both to be replaced. Furthermore, since what you're authorizing is in direct conflict with this *waving sheet* I'd like it in writing that this was the word from the Audi rep."
They spoke with the rep & she wasn't willing to put ANYTHING in writing...both turbos were replaced, under warranty & have been running gloriously ever since.

My dealership said that...
AoA reps are now approving single turbo changes. What he also told me, under his breath, was that Audi/AoA was getting hit hard with waranty costs the past few years.
If I were you, I'd force the issue.

WHAT!? They are flow matched and NOBODY but NOBODY should replace only one...
I have read on the board (occasionally) that a dealer is going to try and replace ONE...that's COMPLETELY against the factory instructions and doesn't even make sense because the actual time to replace the 2nd one is about 10 minutes...its getting the engine out that takes all the time.
Since they're built and shipped in pairs...what was the dealer thinking they'd do with the OTHER one?
