thanks... would it be easier with the bumper off the car tho? I found some instructions...
for removing the bumper cover and it looks pretty easy to remove. Once off, I think it would be much easier to get the OEM mesh off and put the new mesh on rather than trying to squeeze in between the car and the cover, no?

Bumper cover removal instructions

a custom A-pillar pod from Supreme Power Parts...
with an Omori meter electronic gauge. I'll finally get to see what's goin' on in there!

ah cool..i ordered the A-pillar from SPP as well...but i am swapping in my VDO from the AWE kit
the gauge pod that comes with the AWE kit isn't cutting it...i need something more integrated with the interior and the SPP a-pillar looks like it'll fit the bill.
so what's the Omori gauge..is it just an electronic gauge with peak hold, etc.? does it have a white needle to match the dash ones? the VDO gauge is perfect for me minus the red needle.

it has peak hold/memory recall and adjustable warning light
and yes it has a white needle with red lighting... a very close match to the OEM gauges. Only catch is it's 60mm, but Eric says it fits in the A-pillar pod very well... we shall see! Also, it's metric but I don't care about that. I'll post pics later this weekend.
