Default Finally some pics of my completed V1 remote display installation:

I while back I showed my V1 remote display installation, but I hadn't installed the mute switch.
Here's the link:

Here's one of the pictures:

And here is the mute switch installed. It's very easy to reach without looking. I purchased the switch from an electronics store and sandblasted it to match the Audi switches. It's a perfect match.

Now I've got to hide the main V1 unit itself. Hmmm.

Holy crap, that switch looks great! I'm interested in where you're going to hide the main unit!

Why not hide the main unit in the glove box.

Default Hee hee, very funny. Actually, I'm considering the following:

I've opened up the main unit, and found that the overall size can be reduced (no display will be needed).

So I need to build a new metal housing, cover it with headliner material, and permanently install it tucked in tight to the windshield and headliner. Fabric is invisible to radar, of course, so I only need a tiny hole for the laser detector.

Default Seriously, would you be willing to sell those bezels? I'd love to do that install, but the...

plastic enclosure for the remote display is a little beyond my capabilities. Could you make one for a price, and if so...what is the price?
