Default Look what a friend just sent me from Bavaria! Auto Union's first S4???
Anyone know what model this is? year? It looks to be a pristine Hibiscus Red with the same "chrome" trim I have on my Avant. :-)

Default Before being called the 1000, it was the DKW 3=6 -------->
Introduced in the early '50s. Here are a couple vintage Auto Union posters for the DKW 3=6 ...

I think the 3 = 6 DKW had a three cylinder two stroke engine.
