everything disconnected of course except where the other half of the arm connects... or shit, should I disconnect that part first?

Shit I think I answered myself. So I need to remove that side first before trying to pull out the ball joint from the upright right? no no

but then why doesnt it come out, when I jack up the whole upright by putting a jack on just the bolt of the lower arm, and raise the whole arm up , so that it would be pushing it up to pop out, and I use the seperator it still doenst come out!?
