Free maintenance for 4 yrs from BMW so I'll actually just be redirecting the money I'd spend on the S4 maintenance to the payment on the new car.
At this point, it doesn't make sense to spend $3000+ to fix the car when it's only worth maybe $8k. Also, working on it every other weekend to fix something just gets old after awhile. Especially now that my physical disability makes working on cars just a bit harder than it used to be.
BMW is by no means free of problems but at least I can count on someone else to pay the maintenance bill for awhile. I would have bought another Audi but the S4 is not going to be out for awhile, the RS4 didn't really impress me, and the S6 seemed like too much car. On top of that, the salespeopl were really rude to me and basically blew me off. Same thing happened to me at Lexus when looking at the IS-F.
