Had an accident, appraiser said it's a total loss. whoa. what to do?

Default Had an accident, appraiser said it's a total loss. whoa. what to do?
I was rear ended a week ago or so. I thought it was just a minor thing. I got a call from the appraiser today and it's a total loss. $17k damage. I guess the frame and suspension were damaged.

What should I do? Just get the blue book value? I think the other option is keeping it to sell? Has anyone dealt with this?

I'm shocked...

btw it's a 2002 Nogaro S4 Tiptronic. only 50k miles.

how much tdid the appraiser offer you for the car? I just totaled mine too id really like to know

Yrs. ago I totaled my Z/28,bought back from insrance co. for peanuts,sold it for big profit.
