Default Need help with buying a car out of state.

I've been looking at a few cars, but none are anywhere I can see or drive. So assuming I decide to purchase one of these cars, how do I go about doing this safely?
STFA shows a few recommended car transports, but does anyone have recent good experiences with other transport companies?
Flying out to drive the car home is not practical for me so I would need to do everything remotely.

Default Shipped vehicle from CA to NJ.......enclosed transport

Buying the car, I knew the previous owners, so it was a piece of cake. See picture the previous owner took for me to detail teh vehicle.

If you're buying out of state, might be worth asking somebody here, or anywhere else, that you trust to check the vehicle out for you..

The enclosed transport was about $500 more then open, but well worth it IMHO. Went with 1stcallautohaul , if you call them, ask for Erik, tell him "Michelle" with the Audi sent you, he also just shipped an Elise for a buddy of mine from FL to CA......

Erik is a broker, however, if you look at his feedback, it's 100%, try that with DAS or any of the other shipping companies...

Will add picture to this post shortly.

Default Thanks Al, I definitely will pick your brain on this one.

Hope you got the Defi unit. I'm sure Ansen will have no problems with the install.

Default Pay for my flight, gas, and some grub.....and I will drive it home for you :)

Seriously. Tell me what constitutes a deal breaker for you and I'll do it over a weekend.

Default Look at my link for reputable places. I called the ones that had the most positive reviews and

then called those 5 or so and picked the one with the best price. I actually used a broker (I think it was Bullseye Transport)that set me up with a driver. The driver did a great job of staying in touch with me. The car made it from New Hampshire to Denver unscathed. Make sure to tip the driver if he did a good job

Click

Default wow, that's quite the offer.

Where do you live? I like road trips so if it was up to me I'd drive it home myself. However, with my schedule it would be difficult.

Default Mn.

As long as I know what weekend ahead of time (I have a military drill schedule I have to adhere to) I'd be up for it. Email me if you are interested and we can discuss further.
