I seem to have missed this part of the post.

IF the stock shrouds were used it seems that it would only funnel air to a stock cross section of the IPP intercooler and block air from the rest of it. Effectively making them only cool on a stock size cross section?

If no shrould was used then it would seem that the additional directed air flow would help the stock coolers!?

Was this covered and I am just missing it somewhere?

Seems like each intercooler NEEDS the right size shroud to be tested correctly.
