OVERVIEW

This Saturday 9 B5 S4s met at a local performance shop, Batlground Engineering, to conduct our latest semi-annual dyno day. In total, 14 cars ran on the shop's Dynojet throughout a chilly (45F - 55F) day during which we had to scramble around underneath our cars to remove bellypans for the dyno operators. Beyond that annoyance, we had a great day and came back with a wide array of results and plenty of data to pour over.

Our group had previously run on another Dynojet in the city (TopSpeed Atlanta June 2006 Dyno Day), but that Dynojet apparently reads +5% higher than this weekend's Dynojet. Still, the relative results of stock versus stage 2 versus stage 3 were inline with expectations.

Additional cars running included a C6 Corvette with 337whp, a built 60s Chevelle with a 383CID V8 that had trouble putting down all its power (ended up at 300whp with tires spinning), and a J31/K04-powered B5 A4 that put down 206 whp / 288 wtq.

Caveats & Known Issues

--Pie4Foo's primary cats are shot, throwing infrequent codes
--Bahn S4 was experiencing throttle cut
--CASA *S4* King may or may not have a boost leak (see ECUx logs)
--Monster-S4's cats also appear to be shot
--four door was throwing multiple unknown codes
--GatorAl ran first on 104 code then 93 code (he did not put in 93 octane gas)
