Default video and info from saturday at sacramento raceway.

well to start off i want to thank jason(jaybquick) for all the help with the car and at the track, if it wasnt for that guy i probably would have never tried drag racing in the first place. i would also like to thank chinh (drgolfnut) for all the logging and tuning he helped me with.

specs on the day: temp was in the 50s in the beginning of the day then hit about 60 at the end. track prep at first was horrible(plus cold temps didnt help), everybody was spinning like crazy especialy myself and there werent a lot of race cars there to lay down some good rubber. at the end of the day i finally figured out my launching(around 4500) and my 60 foots were going down. they were also out of the 104 unleaded which i normally run so i mixed 2 gallons of 100 unleaded with 1 gallon of 110 leaded. i was a little hesitent at first because of my o2 sensors with the leaded but they are still working fine. i also drained out all the 91 craptane by hooking up a hose to the return line and running it till it almost died.

car specs:
-vast giac-x chip(lemmi tweaks) with tcd and mbc in stand alone(set to around 18.5).
-darin intake
-bosch maf screen removed
-hyperboost dv's
-apr bipipe
-custom fmic(2 inch piping)
-gutted stock downpipes
-custom electric cutouts before my cats
-stock exhaust
-rs4 clutch with fidanza light weight flywheel
-2 bennet coilovers
-vast snub mount
-asp dts
-brembo front brake kit
-jaybquicks prototype shifter
thats pretty much it.

lemmitweaks: my fuel is set to about +5 and i set my timing to +5 at first like i had a few weeks ago when i ran the 12.5s but this time i looked at my cf's and they were at 0. so i bumped it up to +15 and they were still a little low so i finally bumped it to +19 and that was the magic number, saw an average CF of 6 to 9 and my timing was peaking in the 30s.

race gas was about 103 maybe 104 octane with the mixture.

my weight reductions are:
-18 inch oz sl's with 225x40 kumho mx's(about 30 psi).
-brembo front brake kit
-lightweight battery
-no spare or tools
-no golf clubs hehe

i got about 10 runs or so in that day and tried to run a couple times with my dumps closed but i spun bad on those runs too so i couldnt get any info from that. best runs of the day were a couple 12.5s, 3 12.4s, the 12.3 and the 12.2. my times were going down as my launching was getting better. the last run of the day i cut a 1.75 60ft and i got about to half track and bogged down from low gas(sucks) so that could have been a 12.1 or even better, oh well.

my shifting was outstanding thanks to the shifter jaybquick made. its very solid and has almost no slop, i can almost power shift now .

im planning on going to the track again on the 30th and i know i can do better.

well here are the videos and merry christmas everyone:

http://www.audishifter.com/videos/Bertocchini_12.4_12.3_12.2_Web.wmv</a
