    There seems to be the idea that a transmission is rated for, say 350 ft lbs of torque and if you run 360 ft lbs it's going to blow up. Added torque acts like more wear for the most part (unless you do something crazy like run 1000hp!), so the life of the trans is just shortened. Witness the response on here about running K04's on the stock trans - it worked, for a while.

    Heat is the enemy, so don't forget to upgrade the cooler.
