When I had stock intercoolers and APR V5.0 I had to stay in the boost longer. The K03s made plenty of heat for my stock ICs and the bad timing I got from the APR V5.0 weaksauce guaranteed that I would be in the boost for a long time to get the car moving. This leaves the perfect opportunity for IC misters to eat up some heat.
Now that I have a healthy stage III car everything seems to be over with before the IC misters seem to have a chance to do their business.
I have since disconnected my Autospeed intelligent box. Now the only time I really need IC mist is from idle heat soak and the intelligent box isn't designed to fight that. I'm going to install a momentary contact switch to soak my intercoolers before lights turn green, when leaving drive thru windows and in staging at the drags so that the low speed air across the ICs can hopefully take away more heat.
