First of all in regards to your pedal feel comments it is painfully apparent that you only have track experience with the kit you run (Stoptech). Our motorsport kit using the Alcon Monobloc6 caliper is really a cut above what you are used to. Heres the difference, the technology. Now dont get me wrong, the ST kit is a great product for the money but it falls short on a few key technological points where our STaSIS/Alcon kit really shines. Here are a couple of the highlights:

1: Alcon Monobloc Aluminum 6pot caliper. This badassmofo was designed by the very same engineer that penned the calipers on current F1 cars. Special tooling and machinery was developed to bore/cut the pistion reliefs (necessitated by the one piece design). The caliper is stiff - that stiffness is EXACTLY what communicates to the drivers foot... i.e. Pedal Feel. I dont know if you noticed during the brief drive you had in Bens car but with the Mono6 Motorsport kit there is a bit more pedal travel than the ST kit, again this is so the driver can modulate the brakes and keep the car balanced right on the edge of the ABS engagement (more feel).

2: Alcon Segmented Slot discs. OK... so we know the slots on the STaSIS kits look cool but there is function behind that form. They were slotted like that after hundreds of other designs were tested by pro drivers and pro teams because they improve PEDAL FEEL. Now truly it make take the sensitivity of a left foot like Galati's to really tell but I'll take any advantage I can get my clumsy driving hands on. In addition to the slots the metalurgy (high nickel) and long curve vanes with staged air pick ups improve consistency and give you that lap after lap confidence... if you've ever ridden with Lambert on a track you would want that "piece of mind".

Bias: I have a spreadsheet that I'll post tomorrow showing the static bias of most available kits.

This one has me confused also "If you're looking at just changing the fronts I'd encourage you to stay away from anything larger than a 332 rotor"???

If you do the calculations (weight of vehicle, weight distribution of the vehicle, disc annulus, disc airgap etc) you'd find that for the S4 a 355mm disc is ideal. Our 14" disc is the perfect mass for that car.

*outa breath* continued in the morning...
