considering the cost, development, driving talent, etc... that went into those cars. However, as mentioned, that car went a couple seconds faster around Sears on the WCGT tire of the time which was basically a "cheater" T1S; some have said it was an RA1 compound, but I doubt it. I was stuck in traffic though when I went 1:50.9, so that sorta sucks as well. After having more seat time at that track, I'm very confident I could run into the high 1:40's in my car... even with the extended turn 7, but that's all hot air and B.S. until it happens. My car is basically more of a Grand Am build than a WCGT car: similar weight, power and parts of a GAC car.
