I disagree. Stock brakes were designed for a car that's factory limited to 143 mph.

No responsible, intelligent driver is going to get anywhere near that speed operating the car as a daily driver. And if they do, Audi designed the brakes to sow the car from that speed. The stock brakes are fine, even with a Stg3. In fact what stage the car is doesn't matter one bit. The brakes simply need to dissipate the energy resulting from the vehicle speed - how fast the car gets to a particular speed has absolutely nothing to do with the matter.

Depending on the track, the way he drives, and the cooling his cars brakes get, the stock brakes may be fine on the track as well. My first track event was on stock brakes and they held up fine.
