I've gone through a whole bottle of G12 in the past few months. No coolant leaks anywhere, but some people have noticed a coolant smell when the car is first turned on. I had timing belt/water pump etc replaced about 20K miles ago. I don't know exactly when it started happening, but I'm thinking it could be related to the WP.

I do have a little G12 on my driver side exhaust manifold; however, I think it's just from a little spilling when pouring it into the expansion tank. Coolant looks good and pink, so it's not mixing w/oil.
