for some reason i feel like the car is queiter on it then with the M1 Ow-30 and later 0W-40 I used to run. the turbos (albeit they are a different set) are quieter during what I assume is vacuum (still spooling)...and there is just less general engine clickity and tickity sounds...that said I think you are pretty much at teh OCI limit. Once I went beyond about 8K miles (onthe GC 0W-30) things definitely **seeemed** (placebo paranoia?) less smooth and a little louder (particularly when the engine is relativley cold)...
as far as the chemical makeup and metal content of the used oil(from all the analysis posted on here)...these engines are seemign to be fairly stout in terms of wear when high $$ high quality oil is used...but I def. will not go beyond 8K again...
