For me it has been more like owning a horse.

I pay someone to board the horse.(Audi shop)They feed, water and train my horse (turbos, transmision parts, etc). I stop by every couple of weeks to go for a ride. Take her for a spin around the pasture (block) and then put her back in the stable so that they can take care of her again (fix whatever I broke this time).

I hope someday to bring her home and ride her daily. ;-)
