    time from pressing of the brake pedal to the pads applying pressure to the calipers? Theoretically if the MC has a larger volume to pressurize/fill it would delay the application of braking force by some fraction of a second, but at high speeds that fraction can be a significant distance.

    Back in the day I did some ABS testing for the Army on 5-ton trucks, and using pedal switches and accelerometers there were measurable differences in actuation times between different systems. Of course this was on a huge truck with pneumatically actuated brakes, not a hydraulic system on a sports car.
