NOTE: This was updated 10/15/2006 and worked as of then.

How to get Lemmiwinks to work on windows XP:

1.) Go to http://www.ross-tech.net/vag-com/download/Virtual-COM-Port.zip and click OPEN. When prompted, save it to a location you can find easily just in case, and extract the files to this location.

2.) Now plug the vag com in to the usb that you want to use the lemmiwinks on.

3.) It will go through the found new hardware wizard thingy.

4.) Let the computer search for the software to go with it, but no need to search online (it will find it), and then click yes and such to install it. [NOTE: If the computer chooses the vag-com driver, trying manually selecting the emulator drivers.]

5.) It will go through the found new hardware wizard thingy again.

6.) Let the computer search for the software to go with it, but no need to search online (it will find it), and then click yes and such to install it. [NOTE: If the computer chooses the vag-com driver, trying manually selecting the emulator drivers.] (this is same as before)

7.) You can find lemmiwinks here: http://www.ecodetuning.com/revo/Lemmiwinks.exe

8.) The default for the virtual com port is port 4, so use that.

If you get a protocal error, follow the link below:
